Client

My client is a is one of Australia's largest privately owned equipment hire companies and they have been heavily involved in the rental of capital equipment in the construction, manufacturing, events and government sector.

Due to an internal move, they are now looking for a self-starting and energetic hire controller to join their busy branch in Sydney.

Role 

The main objective of this position would be ensuring the efficient coordination of equipment between branches and to my clients' customers and therefore an understanding of the hire industry is required (open on type of equipment).

Responsibilities:
  • Answering all incoming inquiries received from Customers, Sales Representatives and Operations teams
  • Processing all incoming orders received via phone or through the Sales Staff
  • Developing a sound product knowledge in order to provide accurate and relevant information in relation to their needs
  • Maximize customer satisfaction, build good relationships on the phone or in person and ensure repetitive business
  • Create rental agreements and data entry/ other duties as required by the Branch Manager
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • 2 years experience in the rental industry
  • An understanding of compliance and health and safety standards
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Mechanical mindset or a trade background 
Salary for this position goes up to $75,000 + Super
